Prime Time Journey

Hi, Reader,

Welcome to this week’s edition of Prime Time Journey! Let's make the rest of our lives the best of our lives, starting now.

Valentine's Day is coming up next Friday which means restaurants will be even busier this year than they normally are on a Valentine's evening. For those of you who'd rather skip that crazy scene, I have some other gift ideas for you.

(You may need to enable images in your email (above) in order to see the photos.)

When giving a gift to someone, it's nice to know their love language, so if you've not read this book, I highly recommend it - The 5 Love Languages: The Secret to Love that Lasts by Gary Chapman. You can find it here: https://amzn.to/3EtbjxC

For someone whose love language is touch, a massage oil candle might be a great gift. For less mess, look for those that have a little spout built in. Here are two of my favs:

Melony Classic Vanilla Massage Oil candlehttps://amzn.to/4gwMU7R

Pure Earth Tranquility Massage Candle

While this one is not a massage oil candle, it does have rosepetals and crystals in it so that's pretty fun - https://amzn.to/3Es294y

Also, these are great for the winter months when body lotions are cold. Just light the candle before you get in the shower and it will be ready to use when you get out - the shea butter, coconut oils, jojoba oil and vitamin E in this one are great for the skin. https://amzn.to/4gwMs9F

For something completely different, Painting for Real Kits come with everything you need to create your own masterpiece as well as a video tutorial! You could have your own "sip and paint" at home. There are many different pieces to choose from - https://lvnta.com/lv_TrEv0YFNCGcv5eKdKO

Klubi Gifts has some cute items, including this thermal mug that I ordered this year. It also comes in red. https://amzn.to/4gyaOzN

This is another interesting idea that we tried. It was fun and turned out pretty well. https://amzn.to/3CSnUtE

If you're a Lego fan, this is a cute idea - a heart ornament kit. It can be customized for other holidays, as well. It's about 7 in x 7 in.

I have several more ideas for you on my blog post - Nine Fresh Ideas for a Romantic Valentines Day.

Of course, champagne or sparkling wine is always good. Oysters would be a great pairing with that... or velieve it not, french fries! We love Nicholas Feuillatte, which is a champagne but Cavas and Italian sparklers are very good values in the bubbles category.

That's it for now! Thank you for joining us this week. Keep dreaming big, acting boldly, and celebrating you!

XoXo Shelley

February 27, 2025 Prime Time Journey Hi, Reader,Welcome to this week’s edition of Prime Time Journey! Let's make the rest of our lives the best of our lives, starting now. I recently became President of our Rotary Club and just returned from President-Elect training. But in truth, I have already been acting as President because our former President resigned. This, along with my dance group and other women's group, along with my business, makes for a rather busy week. Oh, plus the wine...
