Prime Time Journey

Hi, Reader,

Welcome to this week’s edition of Prime Time Journey! Let's make the rest of our lives the best of our lives, starting now.

I recently became President of our Rotary Club and just returned from President-Elect training. But in truth, I have already been acting as President because our former President resigned.

This, along with my dance group and other women's group, along with my business, makes for a rather busy week. Oh, plus the wine podcast.

Because of this, I've been investing in some productivity leanring. Here's something valuable I recently learned and have put into effect.

If you’d like to have a more productive day, ask yourself these 3 questions.

  1. “What is the one thing I can do today that will make everything else easier or unnecessary?”

Identify the pivotal task that has the greatest leverage. For example, if organizing personal finances is your broader goal, today’s task might be setting up automatic bill payments. This small action can declutter your mental space and ease financial management.

  1. How can I make time for what truly matters to me today?”

Life can get busy, leading us to overlook what we truly cherish, whether it’s spending time with family, pursuing a hobby, or simply enjoying some self-care. It’s about making conscious choices to prioritize and valuably invest in what fills your life with purpose and joy.

  1. What small step can I take today towards my long-term goals?

Long-term goals can feel daunting, but breaking them into small, actionable steps makes them attainable. If one of your goals is to write a memoir, today’s step could be to dedicate 20 minutes to jot down memories or outline a chapter. Recognizing and taking small steps consistently builds momentum and brings you closer to realizing your aspirations, fostering a sense of accomplishment each day.

That's it for now! Thank you for joining us this week. Keep dreaming big, acting boldly, and celebrating you!

XoXo Shelley
